Love and Forgiveness!

Since childhood my parents told me that always in life people can make mistakes and we must learn to forgive those who truly deserve it and make the effort to be at peace with that person. I think that the forgiveness is a necessity to live in peace and happiness.

“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and let it come in.” (Albom 52). For example, in the book there is a part that Mitch did not want to show the affection toward to Morrie because he felt it was not necessary. Mitch then eventually realized that you always have to show with actions the great appreciation that you have for someone else.

“Love is the only rational act” (Albom 52)

“Forgive yourself before you die. then forgive others.” (Albom 164). I agree with that because you need to be tranquil with yourself. There is a saying that when one dies and has not solved things with others can not rest in peace.

  

This means that if one does not see or feel something for the person who made mistakes, that person will not have any importance to forgive or fix things with the other person. 

This means that one has to have the strength and noble heart to forgive someone who committed a big mistake and that person knows wholeheartedly accepted the apologies and know to recognize his mistakes.

Tuesdays with Morrie.

“So I did not know of Morrie’s illness. I had not seen him in sixteen years. His hair was thinner, nearly white, and his face was gaunt.” This quote is provoking because Mitch after so long learns that Morrie was suffering a serious illness. Mitch was very fond of Morrie ever imagined see it. Morrie had a unique vision when it comes to value life and love and that made his speech moved him to everyone who was around him.

What is your Philosophy of Life?

My philosophy in life has always been able to help other people who need it, I am known for being a good human being, I do not discriminate anyone for being different from me. Life has taught me many good and bad things, but from the bad one can learn.

The most important thing in life for me in first is my family and second values because the values one can get very far. To my values have always been present in my life and for that reason I could achieve some of my goals. To me I have always liked to try new things, to do them until you get them. One of my greatest desires that I never thought I would get was to come to America to study and school and college, to learn a second language, and strive day after day to get ahead, like I continue doing now.

I think people should devote more time to fulfill their dreams and to be someone in life, and not just work and work for a few hours,  no matter what it is not bad but it shouldn’t be the only thing you hang on to. One can be much more and live a much better life if one proposes and puts a lot of dedication and love. I think that all people in the world are smart everyone has their different knowledge, and some don’t know how to  avail, my advice would be not to follow the wrong path because the only thing that can cause is death or live an unhappy life, without tranquility.

One of my anecdote is that when I lived in Ecuador living with my parents I was always with they, I did not know about the big obligations that they carried. My life was the school and homework, that was my only concern. Then when I got the news that we would be able to travel to the United States my life totally changed, first it was hard to leave my mother to me she is my everything, I did not want to leave, but she wanted that I go ahead in life, so I had to be strong to come to a new country and have a good future. When we first got my 13 year old sister was not the same, it was very hard for her, because she needed my mother badly. From then on I had to take on the role of being a mother to her. And not show sorrow in front of her so she can be okay. Now we both have very good communication, I cook for  her, I talked to her teacher to know how she is doing and what is wrong, and thank God she is much better in school and learning. This new life has taught me many things and I am very happy everything I’m living now. When I could get my first job that I am proud to know that I can assist in household things, payments, and help my dad, etc. And finally I never thought that my dreams would be fulfilled faster than I thought, in life you have to chase dreams to get them. And everything in life it is possible if you put your mind you can do it.
